Best Ever Tuna Casserole



  • 1 12 oz can of tuna

  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup

  • 1 1/3 cup Milk

  • 1 cup mayonnaise

  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese (I add more)

  • 1 cup frozen sweet peas ( I add the whole smalls bag, we like peas)

  • Crushed Potato chips about an 8 oz bag

  • 4 cups cooked medium egg noodles (cooked to al dente)

Preheated oven to 350 degrees. Boil egg noodles according to package instructions. Combine tuna, soup, milk, mayonnaise, cheese, and peas in a large bowl and set aside. When noodles are done, drain off the water and add to a 9 x 13 baking dish. Pour soup mixture over top of noodles and stir until combined. I cherish a hand full of potato chip ad stir in too. Then crush and sprinkle the top with the rest. Bake uncovered 30 to 40 minutes. Potato chips should be slightly golden brown. Nothing tastes better on a cold night than comfort food. I will say I do love to get in my PJ's with a big quilt, turn on a favorite movie, and eat tuna casserole! Comfort foods don't have to be eaten at the table.....
