Abbreviations:

SC     single crochet

DC     double crochet

 Crochet Directions:

I always start with the right side facing me, and I like to have at least ½ inch to fold over to give more stability to the edge.

Rnd 1: With red crochet thread, Gently push your crochet hook through the dishcloth, loop the thread, pull it back through, and do an SC and Chain 1 *. Repeat from the * along the edge of the dish towel to the corner. At the corner, repeat from 6 times but in the same hole at the corner's edge. This gives you more stitches to go around the corner and makes it lay nicer. Continue from * along the edge and repeat corner instruction until you have gone all the way around the dish towel. Do a slip stitch to join crocheting.

Rnd 2: *Chain 1 and SC in next SC skip 1 and repeat all the way around the dishcloth. Do a slip stitch to join crocheting.

Rnd 3: Chain 4, skip next 3 SC, SC in space, and repeat from. Do a slip stitch to join crocheting. Finish off and work in tail.
